Our interview with nFocus Model Rep, Bailee from Hampshire High School
Bailee is one of the most upbeat people you’ll ever meet. Her session was lively and fun, with country music blaring on the stereo. She came with a bunch of ideas and was excited to try new ones as well. Check out her photos and you’ll see what I mean!
We caught up with Bailee recently to ask her a few questions about life and her experience at nFocus…
nFocus: How would you describe your photo shoot?
Bailee: My photo shoot was a fun and enjoyable event.
n: How did you feel heading into your shoot?
B: I was very excited to be photographed because I enjoy posing and having pictures taken .
n: What was the best part of your shoot?
B: My favorite part of the photo shoot was trying out some unique poses because they turned out amazing!!!
n: Some of your friends may not want to have senior photos taken, or they might want to have friends take their senor photos, what would you say to them about your nFocus experience?
B: I would tell them to get pictures taken at nfocus because it gives you the chance to feel like a movie star!!
n: Did your Mom enjoy the shoot?
B: My mom loved getting to be a part of my experience and be behind the scenes.
n: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
B: I’m looking forward to becoming a nurse in the future.
n: What do you like to do when you have time to yourself?
B: Country music is the key to my heart!!
n: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
B: I love to sing in front of large crowds because it makes me feel like I’m sharing my music with everyone!

Ethan’s Senior Photo Shoot in Cary, IL
Rain sent us into the studio on our originally scheduled date. In the studio we took some photos of Ethan and his brother, Nathan. Ethan’s sister-in-law, Katie (carrying Ethan’s future niece) jumped in for a few photos as well.For something completely different, Ethan and Nathan flew their drones around the studio while I was able to capture some pretty unique images.
Once the weather turned more cooperative, we got to the outdoor portion of Ethan’s session. We took photos with his pet turtle and dog, his trumpet, his rifle and his TaeKwon-Do uniform! I mean it was action packed and totally fun!

Afterwards we had a chance to ask Bella a few questions about life and her experience at nFocus…
nFocus: You are about to become a senior! What are you most excited about?
Bella: I am most excited to continue learning about myself as a person my senior year! I love running and I hope to continue doing Prairie Ridge track and field!
n: You brought so many great outfit choices for your session. How would you describe your fashion style? Do you have a go to item in your closet?
B: My personal style tends to vary but my favorite store is Brandy Mellville! And my go to item would be my jean skirt!
n: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
B: In 10 years I see myself somewhere in the medical field! I would like to be a dermatologist!!
n: Have you narrowed down your college choices?
B: After my senior year I would like to attend either Baylor University, Coastal Carolina University, or Arizona State!
n: How about your photo shoot? How would you describe it?
B: The photo shoot was a blast!! I wasn’t nervous at all because the studio environment was so welcoming and exciting!
n: What was your favorite part of the shoot?
B: My favorite part was ALL OF IT, honestly! It was fun getting to see some really good pictures!
n: Some of your friends may not want to have senior photos taken, or they may want a friend to do it. What would you say to them?
B: I actually did tell some of my friends about the shoot and told them I didn’t know I could have pictures taken that looked so good! I told them Nick has true talent with his photography and they should go to him for pictures!
n: How did your Mom enjoy the shoot?
B: It was a good bonding experience for us because she helped me with my outfits and how to pose a bit!

First Week of Senior Model Rep Photo Shoots
Every Spring I bring in High School Juniors to be Model Reps for our studio. The Reps know they want to have Senior Photos taken with nFocus Photos and help us promote our studio to their friends. The program is a ton of fun and a great way to save a bit of money on senior photos.
Last week we started photographing the Reps in our studio. After a long winter, it’s always nice to be able to dust off the cobwebs and get back in the groove before the Summer/Fall rush!
This year’s sessions have been amazing so far as you can see from the photos!
Our Portfolio Shoot with Circus Performer Leela Miller
Leela Miller is a Chicago area Circus Performer who specializes in the hula hoop, contortion and aerial.
She came to nFocus wanting to update her website with professional photos focusing on her hula hoop and contortion work.
Leela debated between a few different outfits and we finally settled on a perfect light blue, jeweled performance outfit.
We spent about an hour working through several different tricks, trying to grab that perfect moment. Leela is an amazing artist and I really wanted to capture that in the photos.
We recently asked Leela to talk a bit about her nFocus experience and what the photos have done for her business. Look for it below…
Our interview with Leela Miller…
nFocus: How would you describe your session?
Leela: It was relaxed and focused on getting the perfect photo of what I really wanted! I really liked the small, quiet studio and the focus Nick had on my session. He was solely tuned in to taking the photos I wanted, with no distractions.
n: How did your shoot make you feel?
L: Like my photos were important, like I was important. I felt like I was in charge of what we were taking, but with the help of Nick coaching me through poses and angels.
n: What was your favorite part of the shoot?
L: When I did a hula hoop split with all 4 hoops and Nick managed to capture a perfect shot! That was really exciting.
n: What did you like best about your photos?
L: The quality. They are well polished and capture so much detail.
n: How have you used your photos in your business and have they helped in any way?
L: The photos nFocus shot are posted on several of my media sharing platforms, including my website. Since adding professional photos to my website, I have at least doubled the amount of traffic and inquires I’m getting. They really helped grab the eyes of the booking agents too and bring more business to my sites!
